  SHANKS HEAD PROTECTORS

Updated March 8, 2019

Head protectors are used when it is desirable to protect a horse's head from injuries, or to protect injured areas on the horse's head, but still allow the horse to see.

A head protector is stowed on the upper left shelf in Rescue 1.

A head protector is stowed on the upper cubby hole in Rescue 3.

A head protector is stored on top of the Incident Support Tub in the Special Operations Support Unit.
