  RESCUE HOOKS (J-HOOKS)

Updated March 7, 2019

J-hooks are essential for reaching into hazardous zones to manipulate straps, hobbles and other equipment.

The standard J-hooks, often referred to as "yellow hooks," are made of steel and come in two sizes.

J-hooks are stowed on the right inside sidewall in Rescue-1.

J-hooks are stowed on the left inside sidewall in Rescue-3.

A larger padded hook, called the Long Arm Hook (due to its brand name) has an extendable shaft and can be used to pull on legs and other objects.

The Long Arm Hook is stowed at the aft end of the shelves in Rescue-3.
