Panel Trailers 1 and 2

Updated December 15, 2019
Panel Trailer 1 Garage location: Stagecoach, NV
Panel Trailer 2 Garage location: south Reno, NV

This information sheet is primarily intended for persons associated with or working with the LRTC Technical Large Animal Rescue Team, however the information may be useful to other groups or private individuals who may wish to similarly equip a support unit or who may need to utilize the resources available on LRTC's Panel Trailers.

Panel Trailers carry 216 feet of 6-foot by 12-foot structural steel panels. The panels are connected using drop pins. The drop pin configuration is interoperable with panels carried on transport trailers and other panel trailers in the region.

In addition, Panel Trailers carry a 100 gallon water tub for use in emergency sheltering. An ammo box contains various lengths of chains that can be used to secure panels to posts, existing corrals, or to connect panels when used on uneven terrain where the pins won't connect correctly.
