STEEL STRAP GUIDE Updated March 9, 2019 While we typically use the Flexible Strap Guide to pull straps under downed animals, occasionally a more rigid device is required. Therefore we keep a steel strap guide in service in the Special Operations Support Unit. The steel strap guide is carried on the left side ceiling rack under the combination ladder.
