Sonic is a 5 month old roan colt that was locked up in a horse trailer for about 6 weeks. He was given hay and water but got no exercise and could hardly walk straight when brought in. A local wild horse volunteer purchased Sonic and turned him over to LRTC.
He had halter on and 8 ft lead rope dangling from it all this all this time. It took a little time to get it off while he was still in the trailer. Sonic now turned out in the "young horse pen" and is doing fine. He runs and kicks up his heels. For the first few days he would get kind of tipsy but he is doing well now and is learning to trust humans. Sonic
