ADOPTION DAY!

Collage of photos taken on April 15, 2006.

We stopped taking pictures during the period that the wind was so bad one couldn't see through the dust. Better to stash and save the camera! These photos will provide some sense of the events on Saturday.

News crews starting to arrive
"Better move some horses."
(Note the wrangler's mustang is wearing no headgear)
Getting started
(Note, the chairs were just starting to blow over)
A nice mature mare
(Still available for adoption, by the way.)
"OK, I'm taking this one home."
(And she did.)
High jinx around the LRTC table.
