Updated June 1, 2025

Boat hooks (known as Pike Poles in the fire service) are useful tools for handing straps and other equipment over hazardous areas as well as for pushing and pulling objects.

The Boat Hook on Rescue-1 is on the top of the right-hand side of the top deck, secured to the handrail.

One of the Boat hooks on Rescue-2 is in Compartment No. 5 and is on a trigger-operated telescoping pole.

(Telescoping to five-feet.)

A full length boat hook is located on Rescue-2, lower aft side in compartment No. 1.
(Also accessible from compartment No. 5)

A full length boat hook is located on Tactical Support-1 over the right-hand compartments.
