  BOLT CUTTERS

36-inch bolt cutters are used for cutting chains, pins and similar objects. Smaller sets are used for fencing, cutting metal, etc. A set of 36-inch cutters is carried on Rescue-1 on the upper shelf of the rear compartment. Another set is located on Rescue-2 on the middle shelf of compartment No. 5.

Rescue-1: Rear compartment.

Rescue-2: Compartment No.5, middle shelf.

Incident Support-1: A smaller set of bolt cutters is located in Compartment No. 4.

Smaller compound bolt cutters are contained in the Fence and Gate Repair Kits stored in Rescue-1, Rescue-2, and TR-11. The kits also contain a high tensile wire cutter.
