  PICKETS AND STAKES

Updated June 8, 2025

Pickets, generally configured in what's known as a 1-1-1 anchor system, are exceptionally reliable for creating an anchor point. Tensioned with stakes as windlasses, these systems can anchor significant loads.

Pickets can also be used with pulleys to prevent haul lines from digging into the ground.

Stakes can be used to prevent objects from slipping and for anchoring bipod / tripod rescue frames.

DEPLOYMENT
