Here is Janet's report for the weekend of 9-1/9-2-01:

Yogi:

Yogi was showing signs of getting a bit sour and potentially aggressive so he got a couple days of rest.

Frosty

Jackie started out putting some ointment on some cuts on Frosty. He accepted this very well. She then took him into the round pen and applied some fly spray and did some clicker training/targeting and picking up feet.

This was actually Frosty's 3rd time with fly spray and although leery he accepted it pretty well. He also seems to be a natural at clicker training.

Moose:

Cliff up to this point has not had the opportunity to work with Moose so he decided to give it a try. He was able to approach him and halter him within just a few short minutes. He then worked on picking up his feet and desensitizing him to a little more deliberate movements.

Cliff then led Moose into the round pen and took a couple of laps. Then he did a little rope work and groomed him, including brushing his mane and tail and his entire body. Then just for good measure Cliff and Moose decided each other needed a hug.
