This information sheet is primarily intended for persons associated with or working with the LRTC Emergency Response Team, however the information may be useful to other groups or private individuals who may wish to similarly equip a support unit or who may need to utilize the resources available from LRTC's inventory during an emergency.

ISU-1 was built to provide support and additional equipment for a variety of incidents including, but not limited to, highway / transportation incidents, water rescues, critical foal rescues, staging area support, prolonged incident support (including shelter and rehab for personnel,) and specialized veterinary medical supplies.

  Exterior Cabinet Inventory

Cabinet 1:
Construction netting, drop cones with flags, staging cones.

Cabinet 2:
Water rescue PFDs, Becker Water Rescue Harness, floating ropes and throw bags,
wheel chocks, emergency triangle reflector stands, MUTCD traffic cones.

Cabinet 3:
Rope rescue gear, bolt cutters, collapsible ladder, 2KW generator, lighting, extension cords, anchor ring.

Cabinet 4:
Foal carry-all (not shown), Incident Ahead sign, fence and gate repair box.

Cabinet 4 with foal carry-all stored.

Cabinet 5:
Brush fire jackets, vet med bag, traffic wands and traffic flag,
light wands and flashlights, mechanic's tool box, rechargeable flashlight.

Cabinet 6:
Portable outhouse, portable toilet, collapsible garbage can, cooling mister.
