Week Four
After receiving his booster shots, the veterinarian cleared Koby to spend time with the other horses. Koby found this activity to be most interesting.

Shirley Allen provided this three month update.
He went home to his new Mom and is being a real horse now, except for the fact that he gets to have dinner on the patio with us at his new house. We were just over there last night and he stays right with us mostly, does a little exploring and running around and around the house as fast as he can and then visits for a little more attention and check out things on the table and he's gone again.
(It should be noted that the little guy can literally explore the range if he wanted to. There is no fence around the "people yard.")
He's a total joy, growing like the proverbial weed and he is happy, healthy, has a "big brother" horse and a "little cousin horse" to play with. He made his adjustment to new home and surroundings very well as Diana had been great about coming over and playing and bonding as much as she could before he moved, and we all started taking him for longer and longer walks to his house (just a ways around the corner ) so when it was time for him to stay overnight in new home he fit right in.
He had his "blanky" for about a week there and then we even removed that and he's is well
adjusted and doing fantastic. We're all so proud of him and he's certainly the community horse for our area. People love to come over and visit with he and Diana and he eats it up and of course. Diana is a really proud Mom ready to show that "kid" off anytime.
