OLYMPIC WILD HORSE & BURRO PROJECT
The Animals Come Home

We are going to try to track the animals from this project as they go to their new adoptive homes. If you adopted one of the Olympic project animals and would like it to be included, please email us!

Project Animals (Listed in Alphabetical Order)

Gator

Gator was adopted by Jean Anderson of California. He is a personable young horse that Jean seems to be rapidly getting attached to.

Gator will rest up at KBR for a few days before Jean trailers him up to her spread.

Magic

Magic was adopted by Mike & Jana Miller of Texas. He has a quiet friendliness about him and is settling in well.

Jana is working with him taking everything slow and easy.

Moose

Moose was adopted by Nancy Gray in Utah. Moose is very bright. He can sometimes play hard to catch but as you can see, he learns well. While most of the horses were saddled and sat on, Moose is the first to actually go out for a real ride.

Janet and Cliff are helping Nancy with the saddle work including letting Nancy and Moose follow another horse and rider.

Yogi

Yogi was adopted by Cliff and Janet Tipton of Utah. Yogi came into the project with the least confidence of the group and Janet was his primary handler.

Yogi is presently out with Janet's herd where he holds a high ranking position. He also continues to progress under Janet's care.
