| Quite a backlog of Virginia Range horses have accumulated in the Nevada Dept. of Agriculture's "Comstock Wild Horse Program" at the Northern Nevada Correctional Facility at Stewart (south end of Carson City.) Since the horse program is minimally funded, there is growing pressure to get these animals placed through approved adoption groups. LRTC has agreed to take a number of animals, including some studs that we will pay to have gelded at the state facility. |
