One of the stallions we selected for gelding deserved special mention. He is a great looking fellow who was assigned to the contraceptive test program. The only trouble was that he didn't really want to mix it up with the other stallions to compete for mares but preferred to hang out with the humans involved with the program. As a result HE FLUNKED OUT!

Flunking out of a breeding program would be embarrasing for most stallions but Carson (named for his "C" shaped star) prefers to simply be someone's buddy. That's a good trait for a horse headed for adoption.

2005 Update: Carson went to an adopter in Texas in 2004, is now under saddle and is described as being the most fun horse that adopter's ever had.
