Janet's report for Feb. 2.

Today was a quiet day. It started out with just Leilani and myself. Leilani pulled Gator first and I pulled Yogi. Lani groomed and blanketed Gator and just spent some time with him. I took Yogi for a short walk down the lane and then came back and spent about a half hour blanketing him. He did fairly well but still needs to move around some when the blanket is being put on. Then I groomed him and put him in the round pen so he could eat his grain.

Leilani must have been inspired because she pulled Dusty and then Frosty. She had them groomed, blanketed, and their grain fed to them before I could blink. I pulled Spirit and went through the same routine.

Next Lani pulled Jack. This is the first time Lani has actually caught Jack and worked with him. He was leery and it took her a few minutes to catch him but with her quiet persistence she did wonderfully. She just spent time with Jack today to get him used to her. Then she could wait no longer she just had to pull Magic.

Nancy showed up and pulled Moose, so I pulled Mohawk. Mohawk got some time at the tie poll, which he wasn't to interested in today.

While Frosty and Spirit were out we tied the cowbell around their neck and let them walk around a little. No problems there. Spirit is also ringing the cowbell as enthusiastically as Dusty.
